Legacy Migration Guide

EZ Texting has a new REST API that delivers enhanced security and improved functionality that provides more customization and personalization to your SMS workflows.

The legacy HTTP API and legacy REST API will no longer be supported after April 14, 2023. If you rely on either of these, to avoid disruption with your EZ Texting services, please migrate to the new REST API before this date.

Rebuilt from the ground up, the new EZ Texting API delivers new features and enhanced security to provide improved customization and personalization to your SMS workflows. Incorporate seamless integrations using our simple API to automate and scale your business.

EZ Texting’s new REST API delivers a range of security and functional enhancements, providing more customization and personalization to your SMS workflows, including:

  • Basic Auth and OAuth2 support
  • Contact creation and contact update have been consolidated into a single method, simplifying contact management workflows
  • Optional “from number” parameter can be defined when generating 1:1 messages to send from any number that exists in the account
  • Batched contact creation and update
  • Event notifications via webhooks
